President and Portfolio Manager
Cameron is an award-winning portfolio manager with three decades of experience in the investment industry. He began his career at accounting firm Ernst & Young in Toronto before moving to the investment industry in 1993 with Carson Group in New York, where he was a healthcare analyst.
In 1997, he joined AGF Management in Toronto, where he was Vice President and Portfolio Manager responsible for a range of U.S. and global mandates. Prior to joining JCIC, Cameron was Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager of U.S. and Global Equities at RBC Global Asset Management Inc.
Cameron is Chair of the Board, Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Services, a community organization of integrated services which is creating lasting solutions to end poverty, social injustices, and isolation in Toronto. He earned a B.A. (Hons.) in philosophy from the University of Western Ontario and a MBA in accounting from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management.

Chief Investment Officer
Kai has more than two and a half decades of experience in the Canadian investment industry, beginning his career as an associate analyst for CIBC World Markets before moving to Gluskin Sheff + Associates, where he was managing director and portfolio manager. He joined JCIC in 2017, broadening the firm’s focus toward international equities and expanding the firm’s asset allocation capabilities.
In his role as CIO, Kai takes an objective and methodical approach, with an understanding that there’s always more to learn when looking for investment opportunities. Kai is continuously focused on finding new companies to invest in, and ways to improve performance.
Kai graduated from Queen’s University with a B. Comm (Hons.) with first-class honours, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He enjoys travelling, golfing and is an automotive enthusiast.

Senior Portfolio Analyst
Michael joined JCIC in 2015, and is currently a senior portfolio analyst, where he plays a critical role the firm’s investment decision-making processes. Prior to his current role, he worked in investor and dealer services at Franklin Templeton Investments.
Michael holds a B. Comm. (Hons.) from York University and a Master of finance (M. Fin.) degree from the University of Toronto. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement from the CFA Institute.
In his spare time Michael enjoys several sports, including softball, tennis and snowboarding, and is fluent in Portuguese.

Relationship Manager
For more than 25 years, Michelle has been building trusted relationships with her clients. Bringing her broad experience and education as a Wealth Management professional, Michelle is an ideal advisor, providing personalized guidance and direction for every facet of her clients’ financial well-being. Prior to joining JCIC in 2016, Michelle held roles at RBC Wealth Management and UBS. She was drawn to JCIC because of its client-centric approach and team-oriented culture.
Michelle earned her B.A. (Hons.) in Administrative and Commercial Studies at the University of Western Ontario. She has attained the Canadian Investment Manager designation, is Options licensed, and is working towards achieving the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designation.
As a member of CAWEE (Canadian Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs), Michelle enjoys collaborating with and mentoring other professional women. She enjoys spending time outdoors at her cottage with her husband and two children, and is also fluent in German.

Wealth Planner and Relationship Manager
Godfrey began his financial services career in 1997 focusing on providing financial planning and investment management to high net-worth clients. Prior to joining JCIC in 2019, he was a senior financial consultant for a MD Management, assisting physicians and their families.
Godfrey takes a holistic approach to financial planning that is founded on the principles of strong, long-term performance and prudent risk management. He forges close relationships with his clients, builds solid knowledge of their aspirations and priorities, and works hard to ensure they understand their financial plans and are confident in their investment strategies.
He holds a degree in accounting from York University as well as several certifications including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified General Accountant (CGA), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designations.
Personally, he enjoys playing tennis and hiking.

Operations Manager
Renata has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry and has been with JCIC since 2014. Prior to joining JCIC, Renata gained valuable industry experience at other firms in the industry, including Citibank and CIBC Mellon.
Renata oversees the day-to-day operations of JCIC and ensures the effective administration of all client accounts. Renata holds a degree in economics from the University of Nis and a diploma in financial planning from George Brown College.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cycling and spending time with family and friends.

Chief Compliance and Operating Officer
Aaron joined JCIC in 2007, and is responsible for all back-office operations and processing. With two decades of experience in managing investment operations, including work for a major Canadian custodian, a hedge-fund administrator, and an institutional investment management firm, his expertise is in the strategic planning and execution of JCIC’s operations.
Aaron has been awarded the Canadian Investment Manager designation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). He is also an active member of the Operations Head and Compliance Group with the Investment Counsel Association of Canada.
Aaron holds B.A. (hons.) in international development and business from Trent University, and has spent time with the Canadian Armed Forces in a peacekeeping role. His professional approach is based on three principles: accountability, decisiveness and support for clients and colleagues.
His personal interests include sailing, hiking and skiing as well as time with family and his dog.

Associate Relationship Manager
George has spent more than two decades in wealth management and customer service, with various roles held at Royal Bank of Canada and Canaccord Genuity. He started his career in Toronto managing high net-worth clients for UBS Wealth Management. Joining JCIC in November 2021, his day-to-day focus is on developing client relationships and experiences.
George holds a degree in social sciences and commerce from McMaster University, and is a guest speaker at the Adoption Counsel of Ontario. He describes his professional approach as considerate, team-oriented and collaborative.
His personal interests include spending time at the cottage with his spouse and two daughters, as well as skiing and volleyball.

Client Services Manager
Adam holds over a decade and a half in retirement planning and management, spending much of that time with John Hancock, the U.S. operations of Manulife Financial. He’s passionate about bringing a highly personalized level of service to his clients, always taking any opportunity he can find to understand their needs and requirements.
Adam holds a B.A. (Hons.) from Calvin University. His approach to client management is friendly and supportive, and most importantly about creating positive outcomes.
Adam enjoys the outdoors, especially being on the water or at the ballpark either playing baseball with his son or taking in a Blue Jays game.

Director and Shareholder
Stephen has been with JCIC for nearly 25 years, following the merger of Newton House Investments, an asset manager he founded, with JCIC in 1999.
Prior to JCIC, Stephen practiced law with McCarthy & McCarthy (now McCarthy Tetrault) for 25 years, specializing in taxation law, including estate planning. During this period he also developed extensive interests in the chemical industry. Stephen has also been a successful lead investor in private business ventures in telecommunications equipment and medical products.
Stephen holds broad experience in estates, trusts, pensions, foundations, private corporations, and the purchase and sale of businesses, and is lifetime member of the Law Society of Ontario.
Stephen is active in the arts and education circles in Toronto, serving as director and fundraiser for institutions and charities engaged in healthcare alongside the arts and education. Stephen holds a B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Toronto and an L.L.B. from York University.
